Atmospheric Science Research Center – Whiteface Mountain

Students investigate real-world atmospheric monitoring data and analyze the data from the Whiteface Mountain Observatory – Atmospheric Science Research Center in Wilmington, NY.  The AP Environmental Science class travels to Whiteface mountain to tour the facilities at the mid-station and summit station at Whiteface Mountain in October.  The investigation culminates in student presentations of the facilities, equipment, data, and science carried out as part of the Atmospheric Science Research Center.
